ALLEVYN ADHESIVE Hydocellular Foam Dressing has an advanced triple-layer construction that combines an absorbent hydrocellular pad between a perforated adhesive wound contact layer and a highly permeable waterproof outer film that aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination of the wound.^2,7
The advanced triple-layer construction facilitates dynamic fluid management to provide the optimal wound environment, which promotes moist wound healing and may help minimize the risk of maceration. ^1,8 The backing film aids in the prevention of fluid and bacterial strikethrough.^2,9 The dressing can be left in place without the need for secondary fixation and is both easy to apply and remove.^1,10
