Description

BACTIGRAS is a gauze of leno weave impregnated with White Soft Paraffin BP containing 0.5% Chlorhexidine Acetate BP in a sterile presentation. BACTIGRAS is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative wound pathogens, including MRSA.1,2 BACTIGRAS is for use as a topical treatment only. It is indicated for a wide range of wounds where there is a risk of infection. For already infected wounds, BACTIGRAS may be used in conjunction with systemic antibiotics. The BACTIGRAS tulle gras dressing, made from an open-weave gauze, has low adherence and allows the wound to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing3.
