Overview

  • Strataderm Silicone Scar Therapy Gel
  • 50 g
  • For Professional Scar Therapy
  • Once a day scar therapy gel is used to prevent abnormal scarring, soften and flatten raised scars, reduce redness and discolouration, and reduce itching and discomfort of scars.
  • Why is once a day enough? The advanced formulation of Strataderm is a silicone gel that is applied in a thin layer to the affected skin to form a flexible, gas-permeable, self-drying and transparent gel sheet that adheres to the skin. This ensures constant contact to the entire surface of the scar allowing it to work 24 hours a day.

    • Relieves the itching and discomfort associated with scars
    • Reduces redness and discolouration

    • can be used on both new and old scars

  • 20 g

  • Ingredients
  • Polydimethylsiloxanes, siloxanes, alkyl methyl silicones
  • Directions
  • Ensure that the scar is clean and dry. Apply a very thin layer of Strataderm to the scar and allow it to dry. Strataderm should be applied once daily, or twice daily to exposed areas or as advised by your physician. For best results, Strataderm should maintain continuous contact with the skin (24 hours a day/ 7 days a week). When applied correctly, Strataderm should be dry in 3-4 minutes. If it takes longer to dry you have probably applied too much. Gently remove the excess with a tissue and allow the drying process to continue. Once dry, Strataderm can be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, pressure garments or casts.
  • When used as directed Strataderm dries to form a silicone gel sheet, a protective layer that is gas permeable and waterproof which hydrates, softens and protects your scar.
