Before first use and for subsequent cleaning, immerse pacifier in sterilising solution or boiling water for 5 mins and allow it to cool. Remove any trapped water by shaking the pacifier downwards repeatedly for 15 strokes. Clean before each use. If pacifier is not used immediately after sterilisation, store in a dry, covered container.

Inspect carefully before each use, especially when the child has teeth. Pull the pacifier in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. Do not leave the pacifier in direct sunlight or near any source of heat, or leave in disinfectant (sterilising solution) for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the nipple. For hygiene and safety reasons, replace the pacifier every one - two months of use. Do not clean with abrasive cleaning agents.
